1. Simply make eye contact

8. Simply resist talking about yourself, your children, your issues

10. Simply donate shoes, clothes, etc.
11. Simply “like” someone’s facebook status or blog entry
12. Simply send a picture of your children to their grandparents

14. Simply offer to pray for someone, then do it
15. Simply email your pastor or spiritual mentor to say “thanks!”

17. Simply ask “How can I help?” not “Let me know if you need anything”
18. Simply give kudos … for your co-worker, child’s coach, server at restaurant
