21 Ways to Reach Out and Touch

1. Simply make eye contact
2. Simply text “Good morning! I’m thinking about you”
3. Simply put a note in your child, spouse or roommates lunch/briefcase/purse
4. Simply compliment someone
5. Simply call a friend to say a quick “Hello!”
6. Simply live joyfully
7. Simply wave at your neighbor
8. Simply resist talking about yourself, your children, your issues
9. Simply smile
10. Simply donate shoes, clothes, etc.
11. Simply “like” someone’s facebook status or blog entry
12. Simply send a picture of your children to their grandparents
13. Simply listen, resist solving
14. Simply offer to pray for someone, then do it
15. Simply email your pastor or spiritual mentor to say “thanks!”
16. Simply live expectantly
17. Simply ask “How can I help?” not “Let me know if you need anything”
18. Simply give kudos … for your co-worker, child’s coach, server at restaurant
19. Simply hug a friend
20. Simply walk slower and observe the needs
21. Simply say “Thank you” … with eye contact, of course
