Here we are… between the latest Harry Potter and Narnia movies. I’ve pondered their massive appeal to many audiences. Whether on the train to Hogwarts or aboard the Dawn Treader, the alternate realities they present attract us. Truly, the challenges (and even boredom) of getting up and going to school day after day after day does not rank up there with destroying horcruxes or encountering dragons on a royal ship.
However, know that we do indeed have our own missions! Our Lord calls us to serve others to make an eternal difference…reach out to those in need, share His word, pray for others!
Imagine …being a part of something that will change a person’s life for ALL of eternity! Our God has entrusted us to be His hand and His feet on this planet on this day and in this year.
Now THAT is reality!!
